Product Overview
The XY Brake Mechanism Assembly is manufactured to work with Ultrasound devices. The XY brake assembly is aligned to function with the XY mechanism of the console. The XY brake assembly is used to control the movements of the XY mechanism. It controls this movement smoothly thus supports the user in aligning the console. The lever is manufactured from a casted alloy. It has very good rigidity and strength to weight ratio property which makes it very strong and hard and also has excellent EMI and RFI shielding properties. The bracket (which is made up of a polyarylamide compound that is 50% glass-fiber reinforced) has high strength to endure the applied load. It has excellent surface gloss and creep resistance. Provisions have been given on a flange to accommodate the motor. A 12V motor is attached to drive the brake. It comes with 120mm long cable. Proper lubrication has been given to protect against friction, wear and corrosion to provide longer life. The assembly is compliant to RoHS standards. It does not have any hazardous materials and is environmentally safe.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
