Product Overview

The Digital Detector Conditioner is an air-to-liquid heat exchanger used to control the temperature of the Apollo digital detectors in an X-Ray system. The assembly thermally regulates and re-circulates coolant within the Apollo digital X-Ray detector. It is used to maintain optimum working temperature of the detector. The integral parts of detector conditioner are chiller and heater. The chiller is used to cool the receptor assembly to an acceptable detector working temperature. The cooling will be attained through the closed loop pumping of cooled liquid from the chiller to the detector cold plate. The chiller will remove thermal energy generated by the detector. On the other hand, heater is used to warm the receptor assembly to the specified detector working temperature. The warming will be attained through the closed loop pumping of warmed coolant from the heater to the detector cold plate. The heater will add thermal energy to the receptor assembly. The assembly also has reservoir which is a holding tank for the coolant. This detector conditioner assembly can be used with GE's Discovery IGS 5x0, Discovery IGS 6x0, Discovery IGS 7x0, Senographe Essential E and Senographe Essential systems.
