- Arrhythmia Recognition
- This course is intended for nurses and other healthcare professionals who are required to evaluate ECG tracings. Key areas of concentration in this self-paced course include a review of the anatomy, physiology and functions of the heart, ECG lead placement and waveforms and interpretation of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias. A systematic method to analyze the ECG is presented and demonstrated. Types of arrhythmias are discussed. Questions are answered including: What do I call the rhythm, what does it mean and what do I do about it? Hands-on practice exercises are presented to enhance the learning experience.
